What Colours To Choose For Your Hotel Room

What Colours to Choose for Your Hotel Room What Colours to Choose for Your Hotel Room by Mitrelinen

Colour is one of the all important aspects of bedroom design and one of the prime factors to consider when arranging and decorating a room. However, though it is a central factor – it is still not easy to choose and there is a lot of thought behind which colours are best.

Influence:

Many people believe that the colours around us influence the way we act and think and that some are more suitable for certain areas than others. Of course, whether this is the case or not, specific tastes are also very important and can make all the difference between how content we feel in a room.

For hotel rooms, designers tend to choose colours that reflect the appropriate mood of the room. This means that they pick colours and tones that encourage relaxation and to help provide calm and restful sleep. Make sure that you keep this in mind when choosing a colour for your bedrooms.

Neutral Colours:

Neutral colours are extremely common and also on trend at the moment. Shades of beige and cream are common, as they can be combined with a range of other colours. Other colours that promote peaceful and restful feeling are lavender, green and pink tones and even light blues.

Blues are said to create calm, serenity and are even said to delay the onslaught of nightmares. Purple is associated with happiness as well as creativity. Each and every colour has certain things attributed to it so bear this in mind.

Dark Colours:

Dark or vivid colours are not recommended as they tend to make a room appear smaller and have certain moods associated with them that are removed from ideas of calm and relaxation. The same is true for dark tones of more vibrant colours; these can overpower the room and make it seem even smaller than it is. If you want to add a bright colour; paint all the walls neutral, while adding a bright colour to one wall of the room. This prevents it from becoming overwhelming and too vibrant. Other notable colours for bedrooms include gold, wine and slate brown – these all will add to the feeling of ease and relaxation in the room – making them ideal.

Additional Items:

Plants and other additions can be placed in the room to add a little extra colour. Also make sure that the colour of the bedroom walls complements the furniture – this is important for balance and can make all the difference for the way the room feels.

Colours can change a room completely and lay the foundation for a whole new appeal. On the other hand, they are also a great manner in which to inflict a slight change of feel. So, use them to your benefit and your room is sure to look excellent.

5 Best Travel Accessories For Backpackers

5 Best Travel Accessories for Backpackers 5 Best Travel Accessories for Backpackers by Michael B Anderson

Backpacking around the world is a good time, no matter what you bring or how you bring it. Nobody should stress too much over how to pack or what travel gear to bring. Unless you're scaling Mount Everest, chances are you'll survive. But there are a few items that are designed help you stay light and mobile, which means you'll spend less time dealing with life's basics and more time making new friends and creating new adventures. So here are the five best travel accessories for backpack travelers:

First: A Travel Backpack
By far the best accessory you can bring is also the most basic - a backpack designed for travel. Of course, any backpack will due. But if you want to grab your stuff quickly and easily and keep everything organized, a travel backpack is the best way to go. The main advantage is travel backpacks open like a suitcase. Traditional backpacks open at the top with a drawstring. So if you need to grab something at the bottom of a traditional backpack, you have to take everything out first and then repack it. A complete hassle if you're in the middle of a train station. With travel backpacks, you have all the same features, but you can open it from the top or side and have access to all your stuff quickly and easily.

Second: Quick-Dry Travel Underwear
Nothing can ruin a trip faster than a little fungus in your nether regions, if you know what I mean. Stuffing damp, cotton underwear in your pack is a recipe for mildew, fungus and odors. With quick-dry, anti-bacterial underwear, you can just wash it in the sink, hang it to dry and it's ready to pack or wear by the time the next bus arrives. And it's anti-bacterial coating helps fight fungus between washings.

Third: Packing Cubes
I didn't even know what these were when I first started traveling. Now, I don't pack even for a weekend without them. Packing cubes, or compression packers, are essentially mesh or nylon squares into which you pack all of your gear before putting the cubes in your backpack. Not only do they keep everything organized, but they allow you to pack way more stuff in the same space by compressing the materials before putting them in your pack.

Fourth: International Plug Adapters
It's a wired world and you have to stay plugged in. Each continent, essentially, has its own electrical wall outlet configuration, so you have to bring an adapter to fit it if you want to plug in your electronics. There are a couple of ways to do this. If you're going for a worldwide trip, or aren't sure where you'll end up, bring an all-in-one universal adapter that will fit no matter where you go. If you're going to be in only one continent, you can also buy an adapter set that includes individual pieces, so you can bring only what you need.

Fifth: Travel or Luggage Locks
I hate to break the positive travel spirit by mentioning security, but you're a long way from home and it can be a major hassle and time-eater to replace things that are stolen while traveling. So you want to take a few precautions. The best type of locks for backpackers are travel cable locks that include flexible cables to reach multiple zippers. These locks allow you to secure your pack and exterior pockets while in crowded places prone to pick pocketing, or when you are separated from your pack. Some locks with longer cables also let you secure your pack to a chair or other fixed object. Travel locks are small and lightweight. They aren't going to prevent every theft. But if someone has just a few seconds to pick through a few backpack pockets, these locks will make sure they don't pick through yours.

So, remember, travel should be low stress and great times. No need to get bogged down in too many how-to guides. You'll have a blast no matter which travel accessories you bring. But with a few key accessories you'll stay light, mobile and have more time to spend exploring the world.

Have You Booked Your Ski Vacation?

Have You Booked Your Ski Vacation? Have You Booked Your Ski Vacation? by Simon Barnett

There's nothing to beat the thrill of flying down a mountain slope at speed, testing yourself to the absolute limit. Whether your personal preference is for skiing and hitting the slopes on a snowboard, you undoubtedly know what I'm talking about!

But I should perhaps stop talking about such thrills, without first stopping to enquire about whether you have made your booking for your next ski vacation? If not, then now could be a good time of thinking about what is required. It always seems to me that there's quite a variety of considerations, when placed in such a situation.

Indeed, it can be rather difficult to know where to begin. You may wish to start by making a list, or simply by thinking carefully about your plans. As a starting point, you'll certainly need to work out who is coming along and when you are intending to travel.

These appear to be rather critical elements of planning, as does your choice of destination. It's also clear that these three key factors are rather hard to separate. The people, the place and the dates all need to come together properly in order to create the perfect trip.

Thinking about who to travel with is more important than you may even begin to imagine. In fact, some people would rightly suggest that this is the most important decision of all. If you get it right, then you are almost guaranteed to have a wonderful time. If you get it wrong, however, then there's a strong chance that you'll be heading for a disaster.

Why should this be the case? I think it really comes down to the fact that relationships can make or break vacations. If you've ever had the misfortune to spend a vacation with countless arguments involved, then you'll know exactly what I mean. This should be a relaxing, stress-free time of year and it's a shame to ruin it.

Let's not, however, spend too much time thinking about negative issues of this sort. It's also worth remembering that a vacation with great friends can create something truly special. These are the sort of occasions that will be remembered for years to come, for all the right reasons.

When it comes to resorts, I'm a great fan of locations in Europe. I believe that Switzerland, as an example, offers the vibrancy of modern results, combined with the history of that country as a beautiful skiing destination. You may have your own personal preferences and it's important to select a location that meets the needs of your group.

Consider Verbier.co when booking your next vacation, as explained in more articles by Simon Barnett. This article may be used by any website publisher, though this resource box must always be included in full.

How To Decorate Your Hotel Or Restaurant For The Holidays

How to Decorate Your Hotel or Restaurant for the Holidays How to Decorate Your Hotel or Restaurant for the Holidays by Mitrelinen

With the arrival of Christmas comes the exciting prospect of being able to decorate your hotel or restaurant in a festive fashion.

Christmas is a time of warmth, excitement and enjoyment, so your hotel or restaurant should reflect that in the way it’s decorated. There are all sorts of details involved in making your restaurant or hotel look festive and celebratory.

Dining:

In the dining area, it would be a nice idea to think about changing the napkins and table linen to resemble the Christmas season, giving that festive feeling that people love during this time of year. These can be ordered in a wide range of colours and patterns and may really add to the attractive, Christmas feel of your restaurant and give the patrons something to warm too.

Colour Schemes & Soft Furnishings:

Colour schemes are also very important and can make all the difference. Deciding on a festive colour scheme that complements your current scheme means you are able to add that festive touch without too much hassle. Pick about two alternative colours for your Christmas theme that add a hint of festiveness. This will ensure that the seasonal décor doesn’t overpower the current décor, otherwise it may end up look over the top, or tacky.

Festive curtains, whether in Christmas colours, such as red, green, or in Christmas prints are another consideration that can add to the seasonal décor. In addition, you could also add festive pillows and cushions in hallways, as well as other soft furnishings. All these will help to add that special festive feel to your hotel.

It’s the Little Things:

The little things make all the difference and are the things that the customers will notice first. Adding items such as Christmas lights hung on indoor plants, Christmas trees, or areas such as mantel pieces is the quickest and easiest way to give the room that holiday feel.

Of course, there is more to the whole Christmas décor than the smaller items. Larger items, such as the addition of a Christmas tree here or there really help to establish the arrival of the holiday season.

Details, Details, Details

Other details that create the festive feel are fires, candles and wreathes and other Christmas greenery. These decorations are iconic Christmas items and would be strange to leave out. However, these are usually traditional in style. So, if you’re after a modern twist then have a look on the high street, you’d be surprised what interesting and modern designs are out there. Of course, last but not least, a little mistletoe here or there is a fun and cheeky way to add festive cheer – make sure to add some.

Top 7 London Tours With A Difference

Top 7 London Tours With a Difference Top 7 London Tours With a Difference by Summerbreaks

It can be easy to think that a tour of London is all about taking an open-top bus around the city’s major tourist sites. But there’s more to the capital than the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. In fact, if you’re looking for another side to one of the greatest cities on earth, there’s a whole alternative world waiting to be discovered.

Here are just seven tours with something different to offer, whether you’re a visitor, or a resident looking for something new and interesting to do.

One. The London Street Art Tour is quite literally an ‘off the wall’ experience. This tour will give you a close up look at some of the world’s best street artists, including Banksy, who have left their artistic mark on the brickwork of London’s capital. If you think art doesn’t need a gallery, this one’s for you.

Two. For those who appreciate a night out down at the local then a tour of some of London’s old pubs will introduce you to historic 16th Century alehouses and infamous drinking dens. Bottoms up!

Three. If you fancy an evening out with a little more meat on it, then a Death and Debauchery tour should fit the bill nicely. With a history of murder, crime and disease, London’s past has plenty to offer the visitor looking for a way to spend a scary few hours. Highlights include tales of gruesome hangings, grave robbing and the not to be missed two-headed boy of Bengal! More than a ghost walk, this definitely has the ghoul factor.

Four. If you prefer your horror to come with a laugh, then Andrew Mitchell’s Jack the Ripper Walking Tours offer a mix of comedy and informative guided tour that you will find appealing.

Five. Harry Potter may have put down his wand for now, but you can still enjoy the magic of the films with a tour of Warner Bros Studios, where you can walk through beautiful sets, look at costumes and props, sip on a cool glass of butterbeer and even fly a broomstick. A real behind the scenes look at the most successful film series of all time, not to be missed.

Six. If Harry and his antics aren’t quite ‘cultural’ enough for you, you can always walk in the footsteps of Charles Dickens as you follow the ‘author’ around the places in London that influenced his writing. Let the Old Curiosity Shop near Lincoln’s Inn stir your imagination…

And seven. If you’re feeling energetic, you can always turn to pedal power and hire a bicycle for a saddle height tour of the city, through its streets and hidden passageways, for a personal and unique perspective on this great city.

Taking an alternative tour will add an extra dimension to any London visit, whatever the time of year. But when the days are long and the weather is fine, it makes sense to get the most out of your trip by booking overnight summer accommodation in London. Choose from a wealth of options and make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay.

Thicker Duvets For Winter

Thicker Duvets for Winter Thicker Duvets for Winter by Mitrelinen

Christmas has almost arrived and now the trees are almost completely bare. There is also the weather and the temperature to worry about. For hotels and bed and breakfasts this can mean that not only do they have to turn the heating up a notch or two, but they may also invest in some heavier duvets. This is especially true if many of your guests are from older generations who tend to feel the cold more.

Duvets:

We’re all well aware that duvets come in a range of different tog values and the higher the tog, the better insulation it provides. The average tog value is 10 to 10.5, and though this is suitable for all year round; it may fall a little short when the temperatures fall to notable lows.

No matter how good the heating system in your hotel is, people tend to be fairly particular when it comes to their preferred sleeping temperature, especially in wintertime. A higher tog duvet can really help if people still feel quite chilly in their room. Changing duvets for winter is something that should be taken into account from December and businesses should remain open minded towards heavier togs until the temperatures rise again in February or so. As those living in Britain know, the unpredictable weather means that even March can be quite cold.

Material:

There are a number of different materials that these duvets and their fillings are made from; however for simplicity let’s split them up into manmade, mixed and natural.

The choice of duvet depends on a number of factors, but we’d say for a lot of people price is the largest and most significant consideration. Manmade fabrics such as polyester and others offer high tog values for a low price; however they do lack the breathability of other fabrics. This means that although they insulate well, they also don’t allow as much breathability and guests can be more prone to a close, uncomfortable sleep.

Natural materials such as feathers, down and natural spun silk also provide great insulation, and better again they offer better levels of breathability than the manmade equivalent. Breathability is almost as important as insulation when it comes to choosing a duvet. However, they are more expensive and this level of expense can vary significantly depending on the natural fibre chosen.

Mixed Materials:

Mixed materials offer a half-way point between the manmade and the natural and can provide increased insulation and moderately good breathability and air flow for less.

The addition of a mattress topper is also something that should be considered. These increase the comfort of the bed and make for a better night’s rest. This can be something that sets your bed apart from other hotel’s beds during the period and can really allow you to shine even when the sun isn’t.

Comfort is one of the most important things during the winter period and our tips can help you offer your guests something a little above the ordinary.

Mitre Linen is a leading ready-made bespoke soft furnishings and wholesale linen supplier to a wide range of customers in the UK and overseas. We manufacture hotel bathrobes and towels including white towels. We can even supply furniture and carpets.

Your Vacation Isn't Over Until You Pull In The Driveway

Your Vacation Isn't Over Until You Pull in the Driveway Your Vacation Isn't Over Until You Pull in the Driveway by C.J. Mackey

Anyone who's ever made the decision to drive to a far away vacation destination knows that the drive home always seems twice as long as the drive there. But in 2009, when we made our yearly trek to Disney World with our three children, it truly was the never ending journey.

We had spent a very enjoyable week on Disney World property. Having spent a number of years making the trip via our Chevy Suburban, we had the routine down to a science. On the trip down from New York we took off at early evening, allowing the kids to watch a movie and then sleep through the night as we drove, arriving in Florida just as they were waking up for the day. On the return trip, we spent half a day at one of the parks, had a late lunch and started our journey back. We stop on the way once for dinner, and have the kids sleep through the night arriving early morning at our house.

On this particular visit we had picked Typhoon lagoon as our final park visit. The kids had tired themselves happily out on the slides, the wave pool and generally running around. We sat at one of the restaurants lazily finishing our lunch when my husband contentedly said "This was the best vacation ever." I looked at him in horror. "What did you just do?" I asked, "You NEVER say something like that until you pull in the driveway." I sighed "that's it, you've jinxed us."

Jinx aside, we exited Disney World as planned and got on the road on schedule. About a half an hour south of Jacksonville, my husband quietly turned to me "I really don't want to tell you this, but the car isn't accelerating." I luckily had my laptop and a wireless WAN connection and found a Chevy dealership in Jacksonville.

Our exhaust system, particularly the catalytic converter on the car needed to be replaced. The mechanic who could have taken extreme advantage of us, offered to poke holes in the exhaust so that we could make it home and have the exhaust system replaced at a much lower cost. We thanked him and went on our way now an unexpected 5 hours later into our planned drive.

The problem with poking holes in the exhaust system is that it doesn't clear out the building gas, which in turn causes the car to slow to a crawl. In order to vent the system you have to pull to the side of the road and let the gas dissipate. As the evening hours turned to night, the car which could only go 55 mph, would suddenly decelerate, and you would have to pull quickly to the shoulder while trucks zoomed up to your rear bumper and careened past you at 80 mph.

To make matters worse, my husband and I thought we were starting to feel the ill effects of fumes backing up into the car. We felt weak and nauseous and had to pull over to a few rest stops to try and walk around and regroup. The kids thankfully felt no ill effect. Which should have given us a clue right? We went on vacation in May, 2009 when the Swine Flu was at its height. We got almost through Virginia, before my husband couldn't continue to drive or ride for that matter, and stopped in a hotel by the highway. By this time it was morning of the next day, and the kids, who had slept, were now fully recharged and didn't want to be cooped up another minute. My husband became violently ill during the day to which he fondly refers to as "redecorating the bathroom" while I dragged weakly along behind my children as they ran the hotel corridors. My husband managed to get up mid-afternoon to try and resume the trip with me behind the wheel as we sadly limped through the I-95 corridor through Maryland, Washington DC, New Jersey, and FINALLY New York. It was the slowest most painful last leg of a trip I have ever made, wanting desperately to floor the gas, knowing that would have no effect on our dragging Suburban.

We pulled into the driveway around 5 am of the second day of travel (a trip we have always done in 21 hours.) We dragged ourselves into the house and into bed, waking and directing the kids to do the same. We don't talk often of the drive from hell, and we are still willing to drive for short vacation trips. But we do exchange knowing smiles as we shop for airline tickets for more distant vacation spots.

Mohonk Mountain House Offers Scenic Views That Appeal To Hikers Of All Levels

Mohonk Mountain House Offers Scenic Views that Appeal to Hikers of All Levels Mohonk Mountain House Offers Scenic Views that Appeal to Hikers of All Levels by C.J. Mackey

Whether you enjoy a picturesque stroll on wide trails, or more challenging rock climbs over a network of paths that jut out around the lake, the grounds at Mohonk Mountain house offers beautiful trails to meet your needs. If you are a guest of the 256 Victorian Castle or just a day visitor you can explore 85 miles of hiking trails.

Day visitors can pay $20/person to gain access to the Mohonk Mountain House grounds. Besides the myriad of hiking trails, one of which that ends in spectacular views of the Hudson Valley atop Skytop Tower, day visitors can enjoy the award winning gardens and a Victorian maze.

Visitors can park their cars at the lower lot of the resort, close to the gatehouse where they will pay their entrance fee. You'll be given an wrist band to identify you as a day visitor, although I have never been questioned on the trails. It's about a 2 mile walk to the resort and to the main house, but don't tire yourself out there. The main trails and rock scrambles up to Skytop Tower begin at the lake and the view is worth the wait.

For those with young children or less mobile companions there is a wide walking trail, that still provides exercise up to the top of the tower. And as you walk up there are plenty of opportunities to cross small walkways and abutments built into the cliff side to see amazing views of the lake and the Victorian Castle.

For those looking for more of a challenge, you can take on the challenge of the Labyrinth and scramble over and down boulders and through a tight passage called the Lemon Squeeze, which ends in a ladder climb to the tower. Painted arrows mark your way. Note this is a more challenging trail and shouldn't be attempted by young children.

Once at Skytop Tower you can enter the Tower and climb the stairs up and out of the top. From there you have a 360 degree, panoramic view of the surrounding lake, mountain and valley.

Mohonk offers a rest stop area down on the property called the Picnic Lodge, which has become the universal meeting place for day visitors. You can bring or purchase lunch, sit and rest up for your next climb at the sheltered picnic tables on the porch.

Mohonk is open year round and provides beautiful seasonal views of the Hudson Valley from its many trails.

So, the dates are set and written on the calendar, and everyone is looking forward to white water rafting through the Grand Canyon. Fortunately, there are plenty of things to think about while the date of the trip slowly approaches – things like how to pack for it. What kinds of clothes are right for spending a few days on the river? Where do you keep the clothes? There are plenty of things to consider when packing for a Grand Canyon raft trip, but Arizona River Runners would never leave anyone in the dark about such an important part of the trip.

If there are three important things to remember when packing for a whitewater trip it would be: water, sun, and dirt/sand. These aren’t things to bring, but what needs to be kept in mind when deciding what to pack for a Grand Canyon rafting trip.

First, a trip will involve a significant amount of time on the river, which means a lot of time will be spent on, near, and perhaps in the water. Clothes should be fast drying and okay to get wet. Leave the jeans and fashion tops at home. Bring quick-drying nylon shorts and shirts that will dry off quickly or will be dry by morning. The good news is clothes like these are not terribly difficult to find, nor are they horrifically expensive. Any sport store or general retail store will carry clothes like the ones described! Don’t go overboard though – no need to bring a new outfit for every day on the river. Shirley, a long-time employee, suggests a rule of thumb that “for six days - bring four of each shorts and shirts. You don't have to change clothes every day.

Bathing suits are a good idea to wear beneath your clothes, or even as clothing. However, women should avoid one piece suits, which may seem a bit counter intuitive. While a one piece may provide more coverage it makes things like going to the bathroom or changing clothes much more difficult. Privacy is in short supply while on the river; something to keep in mind while deciding what clothes to bring. Keeping things simple and easy will make everything less stressful during the trip.

Finally, the water in the Colorado is not clear, clean glacier water by any means – come August it can be a muddy brown; due to rains and rafting. Clothes soaked by the water have the potential to take on the color of the river itself, so leave the designer clothing behind! Bring clothes that will not be missed if they happen to change color to a less flattering shade of “dirt.”

Sun protection is very important when getting ready for a Colorado River trip. Especially rafters coming from outside Arizona, it must be understood how important it is to have sun protection at all times. Lip balm and lotion with an SPF of 30 is recommended, and reapply often. Sometimes a long sleeve shirt with built in UV protection is the best idea during the months when the sun is especially strong, such as June, July and August. These long sleeved shirts can be found in sport stores. They are light weight without any cotton, will dry quickly and be less likely to irritate skin when they do get wet. Don’t forget your hat and sunglasses (both with retention string) for added protection.

For cooler times and rainy weather, a lightweight fleece or fleece-lined jacket will keep you cozy. Raingear is a MUST. Look for quality pieces that are waterproof, not just water resistant. The point is to stay dry!

A couple of other packing tips…Bring two pairs of shoes, one for the raft and one for camp; make sure they are well broken in! Don’t forget socks, these are great for camp and help your feet if you get sore spots from your shoes. Make sure your camera has extra batteries and memory card, and store in a zip lock bag – not just to protect it from the water, but from the sand! A bandana is helpful too, it comes in handy for cooling off or keeping the sun off your neck…Lastly bring a water bottle; hydration is important on the rafts and on the hikes.

The outfits have been picked, now how should they be packed? Everyone on the trip is advised to pack one sports bag/duffel to bring with them on the boats measuring 24x12x12 inches. One of the best ways to make sure the clothes stay organized and dry is to use plastic zipper bags. Shirley is also a veteran rafter and offers this advice: “I roll my shorts and shirts up like a cigar and put them in zip lock bags…Keeps things separate and easy to get to!” “And don’t forget to pack a hoodie, they are great to wrap around a pillow for softer sleeping.”

With packing lists, articles, blog posts, and an open line of communication for any questions, Arizona River Runners wants to make sure that no one leaves unprepared. Shirley says “people try to make it more complicated when it comes to packing - just go by what's on the packing list and they'll be fine, and always call with questions."

White Vs. Coloured Towels

White Vs. Coloured Towels White Vs. Coloured Towels by Mitrelinen

The bathroom requires all sorts of considerations and one of the major ones is whether you should use white towels or coloured towels. Of course, both have their advantages and disadvantages, so let’s take a look and you can decide which best suits you.

Longevity:

One of the things to consider is the colour and the longevity of the colour and this depends on how frequently the towels will be used. White towels look crisp, clean and go with a wide range of colours which makes it a simple, elegant choice. However, the obvious downsides are that their brightness can fade over time and stains can be hard to remove especially if small children are using them.

Coloured towels wear better, including off white colours. These have a tendency to last a lot longer when subjected to harsher conditions compared to white towels.

Care:

Of course, towel care is also something that has to be taken into account. White towels will need to be washed with white items only, otherwise you may end up with slightly discoloured towels. Or worse again, a bright colour may leak, destroying the towels completely. The benefit of coloured towels is that it can be placed in the wash with any other colours and will come out in perfect condition. There is little or no risk. They are also better for families as there is no need to worry about children and their dirty hands getting in contact with them, particularly if you choose darker colours.

White towels can be brought back to their original brightness with a little bit of stronger detergent, some people even use bleaches though this can be hard on the fabric of the towel. If you’re keen to re-use materials and save money, why not dye your white towels if they become too shabby? This means they don’t have to throw them out.

Design:

White is neutral, classic colour. The biggest benefit here is that no matter what colour scheme you’ve chosen for your hotel bathrooms, you guaranteed the white towels will fit in perfectly. Coloured towels can be limiting, especially if you’re choosing bright or bold colours, so think carefully about whether the towels will match the bathroom décor.

Of course, white towels do look a lot more attractive in a lot of ways and this is because of their clean and crisp aesthetic. With the minimalist design being quite popular, white towels are a great contemporary choice. This means that although they can be harder to care for, they will fit most colour schemes and tend to be preferred by guests.

Deciding on what colour of towel can be a difficult decision, however if you take all these things into account you should be able to make the choice.
